Pet Talk is designed to protect your privacy. This policy explains what happens when you use the app.

Data we collect

None. Pet Talk does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter or record stays on your device.

What stays on your device

• Pet profiles (names, breeds, photos, notes) — stored only in the app's local storage.
• Mood journal entries — stored only in the app's local storage.
• App preferences (language, sensitivity, theme) — stored only in the app's local storage.

Microphone

Pet Talk uses your microphone to listen to pet sounds while you use the Listen feature. Audio is analyzed in real time on your device and is not recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.

Camera

Pet Talk uses the camera only when you choose the Video Translator's Record option. Videos are analyzed locally and deleted from temporary storage after analysis.

Photo library

If you choose a profile photo or import a video, Pet Talk only accesses the specific item you select. No other photos are read.

Third parties

Pet Talk contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party data collection.

Children

Pet Talk does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Entertainment disclaimer

Pet Talk is for entertainment only. Translations are playful, pseudo-scientific interpretations based on audio features — not real animal language translation.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
